Abstract: Fantastic ink sketch by David McNeely Stauffer (1845-1913) who served with the 2nd Pennsylvania Emergency Militia and the Independent Battery of Pennsylvania Artillery, 6-1/2x7-1/4, titled INTERIOR OF MY BOARDING HOUSE. he pens Winter Quarters Ind. Bat. I Pa. Light Artillery, Camp on Maryland Hts. Dec. 1863 and includes his Boarders Sergt. Bachman Herr, Gun Corpl. Geo. Rigg, Chf. of Caisson D.M. Stauffer, and Private Hiram Silverthorn.
