The Pearce Museum at Navarro College consists of a number of focused collections – namely documents, artifacts, and photographs related directly to the American Civil War and works of art depicting the historic and modern American West.  There are a number of smaller collections including “Restraints,” a number of rare books, and a limited research library focusing on the Civil War and Western Art.

In addition, the Pearce Museum is the repository for the Navarro College Archives and select items of Corsicana community interest.

As a non-profit institution, the Pearce Museum is prohibited from providing appraisals.  If you are looking for a monetary evaluation of a document, object, or work of art for insurance or other purposes, contact a professional appraiser in your area.  Many auction houses and independent antiques dealers offer appraisal services.  Member associations such as those listed below can also refer you to specialists by region:
